AB  - Peptaibiotics are Aib-rich peptides, which are produced by fungi and possess interesting biological and medicinal properties. Besides antibiotic and antimicrobial activity antiinflammatory, anticancerogenic or immunosuppressive effects have to be mentioned. The most important class of peptaibiotics are the peptaibols. However, more unusual species also belong to the class of peptaibiotics, of which some were synthesised and investigated in this thesis.
