TY - THES AB - The combination of NMR spectroscopy and molecular mechanics simulations is one of the most relevant methods for conformational analysis of peptides and proteins. The conformation of the peptaibiotic efrapeptin C was investigated using residual dipolar couplings. Additionally the sequence of the neoefrapeptins A and F was determined. Some cyclic and nonpolar peptides show conformational effects on the presence of calcium cations, which was in the frame of this work systematically analysed by CD-, IR-, VCD-, and NMR spectroscopy.
