TY - THES AB - Cooperative task solving requires complex coordination and interaction patterns which are generated and perceived by humans intuitively and unobtrusively. To investigate these patterns and to research opportunities to support cooperative task solving itself we designed and implemented an augmented reality framework. Seven augmentation prototypes were designed based on elicited requirements from which four were implemented to test the expand- ability of the framework. Insights gained during the development process were used to propose opportunities to improve the user experience of augmented reality based applications.
