TY - JOUR AB - Rates of satisfaction/dissatisfaction with school classes with different percentages of foreign pupils (in all types of schools) were compared using interviews with 7,864 students, 3,162 parents, and 342 teachers from Münster, Wuppertal, and Duisburg. The results show that pupils and parents take a positive view of classes with a high percentage of foreign pupils, while only teachers see these negatively. Multicultural classes receive significantly more positive scores than binational classes. The article also includes a discussion of the relevant theories and hypotheses.
