Abstract
  • Biotechnology is one of the “hot spots” in research and development in this century. Great chances and opportunities lie ahead, but also tremendous threats. While technology and knowledge is easily available all over the world, it can be quite difficult to access markets and to commercialize biotechnological products. What are the main obstacles? What are the newest scientific insights? How can developing countries bring biotechnology successfully to the market?
